I have a Diploma and Masters Degree in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. I am also a member of the Institute of Psychotherapy and Social Studies, London (IPSS) and am registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I adhere to their Code of Ethics and Code of Practice. The UKCP are accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) voluntary register (AVR). I have a secondary registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). I continue to develop professionally and I am committed to ongoing training and development.
I am currently Chair of the Ethics Committee at the Institute of Psychotherapy and Social Studies. I am also a member of the Ethics Committee of the Council for Psychoanalysis and Jungian Analysis(CPJA). The CPJA is a College of the UK Council for Psychotherapy.

I have over 20 year experience of working with people with emotional and psychological difficulties, working in the NHS and in private practice. I have worked with people with a wide range of problems, including depression, anxiety, stress, compulsive thoughts, childhood trauma (such as abuse), self-harm, problems around sex or sexuality, fears, loss and bereavement.
I am committed to providing psychotherapy and counselling in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment.
